Lakisha Dawkins M.A. CCC-SLP

Lakisha Dawkins M.A. CCC-SLP is a licensed speech language pathologist and founder of Dandelion Speech Language Pathology Services, LLC. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. Lakisha holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech language pathology (CCC-SLP) and is licensed by the State of Florida. Lakisha is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP).

Lakisha has experience working in adult neurological rehabilitation treating adults with acquired neurogenic communication disorders. Her clinical interests are in treating aphasia, dysarthria, cognitive disorders and voice disorders. Lakisha is a certified Lee Silverman Voice Treatment – LOUD (LSVT-LOUD) clinician, licensed SPEAK OUT! provider, and certified in the use of the Guardian Way NMES in treating dysphagia.

Lakisha is a native to the Central Florida area and enjoys giving back to her community. In addition to serving individuals with communication disorders, Lakisha loves spending time with her family.
